What if you were unable to speak until between the ages of 4 and 5?<\/span><\/p>\n

What if you were labeled as delayed?<\/span><\/p>\n

What if the road that stood before you from birth was filled with challenges along the way?<\/span><\/p>\n

What if your future ability and impact was in question?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What if you overcame your challenges, faced your delays, and decided to take responsibility in your life to build the life you ultimately desired?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rome Kadi and I was and am that boy who did not speak until I was between 4 and 5, labeled as delayed, had a road filled with challenges, and <\/span>my ability and impact was questioned.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And yes, I overcame all of these odds to become the young man I am today as I have won academic awards, traveled to numerous countries, attended countless sporting events, and now I am taking on my next exciting opportunity: sports broadcasting and journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The boy who could not speak is now going to become the man who helps paint a picture in your head while watching your favorite sporting events.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And might I add, I am only in the 10th grade and I have an undeniable vision that I would like to share with you and invite you to participate in.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a two-part vision\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Part 1 – Never let a label define you. I want to be an example for children, young adults, adults, and seniors with my actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Part 2 – I have launched my website and podcast and if you are interested in being interviewed, it would be my absolute pleasure. My podcast is focused on professional, college, and high school athletes, coaches, and scouts along with fun and interesting personalities within the sports industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

My role model and friend, Bob Costas, so eloquently stated, <\/span>\u201cYou have to be simultaneously well-prepared and spontaneous. You don’t really know for sure what percentage of the preparation you are going to use, and you don’t know exactly where it will apply. So you have to be prepared, but not locked into that preparation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I live my life by these words and I am eager, driven, and wildly enthusiastic to connect with you so that together we truly can achieve more.<\/span><\/p>\n
